SUMMARY:Bethlehem Town hall Rotunda Gallery\, Bethlehem Area School District Student Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:The Bethlehem Area School District will be exhibiting a student art exhibition at the Bethlehem Town Hall Rotunda Gallery from April 6 to May 14\, 2026.  There will be an opening reception on Sunday\, April 12 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM.  The Rotunda Gallery is located at 10 E. Church Street.  Gallery hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. \nThis exhibition is a combined effort of the Bethlehem Area School District’s art teachers.  Art is an integral part of the learning process and gives a student a chance to explore the material world.  In this exhibition will be but a small part of the wonderful body of artwork produced by the many children in the classrooms on a daily basis.  This will be a collection of artwork created during the 2025-26 school year. \nThe artists are Bethlehem students enrolled in the Bethlehem Area School District public schools.  They range in age from kindergarten through high school.  Although they are very different from each other\,  all of these children share the joy of expressing themselves through the media of the visual arts. \nThe exhibition is sponsored by the Bethlehem Fine Arts Commission (www.bfac-lv.com) and the PA Council of the Arts.

We’ll work with fabrics\, thread and needle. Your fabric piece can be used later as an applique or patch on your well-worn jeans! No previous sewing experience necessary! \nSpace is limited to 20 participants. Please register in advance to help us plan for your visit and ensure we have enough materials for everyone! \nRebecca Kelly is a storyteller\, visual artist\, and curator. Rebecca is a teaching artist at Lehigh University Art Galleries\, Young Audiences of NJ and PA\, and The Banana Factory in Bethlehem\, PA. Rebecca is on the roster of the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. Ms. Kelly is a gifted visual artist who specializes in Book and Textile Arts.
