SUMMARY:Bethlehem Town hall Rotunda Gallery\, Bethlehem Area School District Student Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:The Bethlehem Area School District will be exhibiting a student art exhibition at the Bethlehem Town Hall Rotunda Gallery from April 6 to May 14\, 2026.  There will be an opening reception on Sunday\, April 12 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM.  The Rotunda Gallery is located at 10 E. Church Street.  Gallery hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. \nThis exhibition is a combined effort of the Bethlehem Area School District’s art teachers.  Art is an integral part of the learning process and gives a student a chance to explore the material world.  In this exhibition will be but a small part of the wonderful body of artwork produced by the many children in the classrooms on a daily basis.  This will be a collection of artwork created during the 2025-26 school year. \nThe artists are Bethlehem students enrolled in the Bethlehem Area School District public schools.  They range in age from kindergarten through high school.  Although they are very different from each other\,  all of these children share the joy of expressing themselves through the media of the visual arts. \nThe exhibition is sponsored by the Bethlehem Fine Arts Commission (www.bfac-lv.com) and the PA Council of the Arts.

DESCRIPTION:The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts (Charter Arts) Music Department presents its “Evening with Guitar” event on Tuesday\, April 28 at 7 PM. Guests will enjoy a dynamic concert featuring guitar students performing classical\, jazz\, and rock selections.\nLed by Mr. Joe Bucci\, students from all grade levels come together for a night of musical expression and creativity.\nTickets are $8 General Admission and are available for purchase in advance at CharterArts.org or at the door.\nABOUT THE CHARTER ARTS MUSIC DEPARTMENT::\nThe Charter Arts Music Department offers a rigorous music education taught by award-winning and accomplished faculty that develops students into well-rounded and professional musicians and vocalists.\nThe instrumental music curriculum includes classes in classical\, jazz\, and contemporary music styles while performing in large ensembles that include Orchestra\, Jazz Ensemble\, Latin Music Ensemble\, Wind Ensemble and Contemporary Music Ensemble as well as small ensembles that include strings\, guitar and percussion.  Students enjoy individual and small setting technique classes with a music faculty member who specializes in their instrument. These specialists include bass (electric and upright)\, brass\, guitar\, percussion\, piano\, strings\, and woodwinds.\nThe vocal music curriculum includes tracks in classical art song\, musical theatre\, and pop/contemporary that allow students to focus and hone their skills with one-on-one instruction by professional voice specialists.  In addition\, the Singer/Songwriter track includes Songwriting\, Music Production and Contemporary Music Performance Practices.\n***Charter Arts is an audition-based public charter high school\, funded by Pennsylvania taxpayer dollars\, designed for students who have a dedicated passion for the creative or performing arts.
