SUMMARY:Bethlehem Town hall Rotunda Gallery\, Bethlehem Area School District Student Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:The Bethlehem Area School District will be exhibiting a student art exhibition at the Bethlehem Town Hall Rotunda Gallery from April 6 to May 14\, 2026.  There will be an opening reception on Sunday\, April 12 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM.  The Rotunda Gallery is located at 10 E. Church Street.  Gallery hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. \nThis exhibition is a combined effort of the Bethlehem Area School District’s art teachers.  Art is an integral part of the learning process and gives a student a chance to explore the material world.  In this exhibition will be but a small part of the wonderful body of artwork produced by the many children in the classrooms on a daily basis.  This will be a collection of artwork created during the 2025-26 school year. \nThe artists are Bethlehem students enrolled in the Bethlehem Area School District public schools.  They range in age from kindergarten through high school.  Although they are very different from each other\,  all of these children share the joy of expressing themselves through the media of the visual arts. \nThe exhibition is sponsored by the Bethlehem Fine Arts Commission (www.bfac-lv.com) and the PA Council of the Arts.

SUMMARY:AudaTours Bethlehem Audio Tour: Moravian Echoes and Industrial Origins
DESCRIPTION:A secret network of tunnels once buzzed beneath Bethlehem’s quiet cobblestone streets\, where revolutionaries plotted by candlelight and radical thinkers rewrote history in silence. \nTrace these hidden threads on a self-guided audio tour that reveals the stories behind doors most people walk past. Find lost legends and overlooked corners without a guidebook or crowd. \nWho risked everything in the Colonial Industrial Quarter\, where the smell of molten iron once foreshadowed disaster? What forbidden rituals unfolded in the Single Sisters’ House after dark\, behind locked shutters? Why did a rare orchid spark obsession and rivalry at the Lewis David de Schweinitz Residence? \nMove through centuries in a single afternoon\, feeling every echo of ambition\, invention\, and intrigue beneath your feet. Let each landmark breathe its secrets back to life as the city transforms around you. \nPress play and plunge beneath the surface of Bethlehem’s most intriguing streets.

SUMMARY:Christmas Putz & Star & Candle Shoppe
DESCRIPTION:at \n \n \n\nThe holiday shopping season is upon us\, and the Moravian History Store has something for everyone on your list! This year\, the History Store is once again partnering with Central Moravian Church to manage the Star and Candle Shoppe. Browse a dazzling array of holiday treasures\, including\, authentic Herrnhuter Moravian Stars\, handcrafted ornaments and holiday décor\, beautiful Moravian star jewelry\, and themed glassware\, tumblers\, and more. \nSince 1937\, Central Moravian has been offering a Community Putz for the City of Bethlehem. Like a crèche\, a putz tells the story of Jesus’ birth with carved figures.  A cherished tradition\, the Putz (from the German word putzen\, meaning “to decorate”) retells the wonderful story of Christ’s birth through narration and music\, while tiny lights illuminate each miniature scene. The figures\, many of them antiques of German origin\, are nestled amidst live moss\, driftwood and rocks. The practice of putz building is uniquely Moravian. Bethlehem’s first settlers brought their putz figures with them in the 18th century. In Victorian days\, it was the custom in Bethlehem for Moravians to “go putzing” during the week between Christmas Eve and New Year’s\, enjoying others’ putzes.\nPutz & Star & Candle Shoppe Hours: Thursdays and Fridays: 1 – 7 p.m.\, Saturdays: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.\, Sundays: 1 – 5 p.m.\,\nAfter Christmas\, open daily 1 – 5 p.m. \n\n\n\n\n\n \n Add to calendar \n\n\n\n \n Google Calendar \n \n\n \n iCalendar \n \n\n \n Outlook 365 \n \n\n \n Outlook Live \n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n\n\n Details\n	\n\n\n Date:\n \n \n \n \n\n Time:

SUMMARY:Compagnie Multicorps/Marcel Gbeffa: Didę: Rise Up
DESCRIPTION:Didę is a contemporary dance performance that immerses you in the mystical universe of Gèlèdé tradition\, where each dancer becomes a messenger of transfigured feminine energy. This choreographic creation by Marcel Gbeffa transcends the boundaries of time and space by blending respect for Beninese traditions with aesthetic innovation. Masks\, created by artist Sarah Trouche and carved by Sébastian Boko\, transform into contemporary sculptures that come to life with palpable intensity through the dancers’ movements. Didę is a true celebration of African culture\, an opportunity to rediscover contemporary dance through an original lens while honoring the intangible and spiritual heritage of traditional Beninese dance.  LU Students attend for FREE\, click for more info. \nClick HERE for artist’s website. For more information\, please contact Stephanie Tooman\, U.S. Representative and Program Coordinator for Compagnie Multicorps\, via email at stephanietooman5@gmail.com.
