SUMMARY:Bethlehem Town Hall Rotunda Gallery\, 4 Realist Painters
DESCRIPTION:“4 Realist Painters”\, James A. DePietro\, Jack Dickerson\, Albina P. Herron and Keith Vogrin will be exhibiting their paintings at the Bethlehem Town Hall Rotunda Gallery from February 20 to March 27\, 2026.  There will be an opening reception on Sunday\, February 22\, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM\, with an artist talk at 3:00 PM.  The Rotunda Gallery is located at 10 E. Church Street.  Gallery hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. \nEntitled 4 Realist Painters\, this exhibition focuses on the representational artwork of four artists and their distinctive personal approach to realistic subject matter. The talents of James A. DePietro\, Jack Dickerson\, Albina P. Herron and Keith Vogrin shows their figurative artwork clearly derives from real object sources\, be they\, nature studies\, human forms\, still lifes\, or landscapes. Yet their application of the painting media and their individual methods to honor their subjects vary under the visual realm of artistic expression. \nJames A. DePietro is a visual storyteller who uses a series approach to incorporate his realistic subject matter to express a host of sociopolitical contemporary themes. His oil and/or acrylic media work highlight figurative images against stark contrasting  back- grounds with a vibrancy reminiscent of the Pop Art Movement.  Albina P. Herron’s exquisitely detailed work encompasses the natural world. Her media is gouache and watercolor and her depiction of plants and animals take on a photorealistic approach inspired by life on our planet. Jack Dickerson’s hyperrealism serves as a direct link to his realistic subjects. His acrylic and oil paintings are rendered with astonishing accuracy as he skillfully layers and applies his paint to create the illusion of reality on his canvas. The paintings of Keith Vogrin show his  neo-romantic tendencies. Nature and architecture reflect his love for the outdoors in his rural scenes or cityscapes\, using texture wherever needed with visible brush strokes with a “controlled looseness” to maximum effect. \nThis quartet of artists show an amazing range of expertise and mastery which they convey to the viewer in their close examination and appreciation of our “real” world. \nThe exhibition is sponsored by the Bethlehem Fine Arts Commission (www.bfac-lv.org) and the PA Council on the Arts.

SUMMARY:AudaTours Bethlehem Audio Tour: Moravian Echoes and Industrial Origins
DESCRIPTION:A secret network of tunnels once buzzed beneath Bethlehem’s quiet cobblestone streets\, where revolutionaries plotted by candlelight and radical thinkers rewrote history in silence. \nTrace these hidden threads on a self-guided audio tour that reveals the stories behind doors most people walk past. Find lost legends and overlooked corners without a guidebook or crowd. \nWho risked everything in the Colonial Industrial Quarter\, where the smell of molten iron once foreshadowed disaster? What forbidden rituals unfolded in the Single Sisters’ House after dark\, behind locked shutters? Why did a rare orchid spark obsession and rivalry at the Lewis David de Schweinitz Residence? \nMove through centuries in a single afternoon\, feeling every echo of ambition\, invention\, and intrigue beneath your feet. Let each landmark breathe its secrets back to life as the city transforms around you. \nPress play and plunge beneath the surface of Bethlehem’s most intriguing streets.

SUMMARY:Dave’s Night Out – Lehigh University Archivists Edition! A Discussion\, Show\, Tell\, and Listen About the Ongoing Preservation of Godfrey Daniels History and Digital Music Archives
DESCRIPTION:Dave’s Night Out returns with a special Archivists Edition featuring the librarians from the Archives and Special Collections at Lehigh University’s Linderman Library. As part of the Godfrey Daniels 50th Anniversary Season\, the evening explores the ongoing work to preserve and digitize the venue’s history — including decades of concert recordings\, posters\, and memorabilia that capture the story of one of the region’s most influential folk music spaces.\nThrough conversation\, show-and-tell moments from the archives\, and a few songs and stories from Dave Fry\, the night offers a rare look behind the scenes of how Godfrey Daniels’ legacy is being documented and shared. In the venue’s signature Live Music Listening Room setting\, it’s an opportunity to connect the music\, memories\, and community that have shaped South Bethlehem for the past 50 years.
