DESCRIPTION:The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts (Charter Arts) will be exhibiting student artwork at the Bethlehem Town Hall Rotunda Gallery from January 8 to February 18\, 2025.  There will be an artist reception on Sunday\, January 12 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.  The Rotunda Gallery is located at 10 E. Church Street.  Gallery hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. \nA diverse collection of artwork by the visual arts students from the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts (Charter Arts) is on display. Featuring a dynamic range of mediums—painting\, sculpture\, photography\, and mixed media—the exhibit highlights award-winning artwork including gold\, silver\, and honorable mentions from the region’s Scholastic Art Awards. The collection encompasses the technical skill\, creativity\, and emotional depth of emerging high school artists moving through the Charter Arts’ visual arts program of study.  Each piece reflects the artists’ dedication to their craft and their ongoing exploration of themes such as identity\, connection\, and self-expression. \nThe exhibition is sponsored by the Bethlehem Fine Arts Commission (www.bfac-lv.org) and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts.

DESCRIPTION:The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts Visual Arts Department proudly hosts its 2025 Black Excellence Exhibit featuring the work of professional artist\, David Johns III\, and curated by Berrisford Boothe.  The exhibit will open with a FREE Reception on Friday\, February 7th from 6-8 PM in the school’s Corpora Gallery.  This reception is in collaboration with the Southside Arts District’s First Friday celebration.  A Talk-Back with the artist and curator will take place at 6:30 PM. \nThe exhibition will be on display through the month of February. Private appointments to view can be arranged by calling 610-868-2971. \nThe visual arts program of study at Charter Arts provides a well-rounded\, structured\, and classical fine art education. Approached as an academic as well as artistic discipline\, the sequence of courses inspire students to form connections across the curriculum. DESCRIPTION:Kings Return is a vocal band of brothers: Gabe Kunda\, Vaughn Faison\, J.E. McKissic and Jamall Williams. The Dallas-based a capella group was formed unintentionally in 2016 after first singing together for Gabe’s college graduation recital.
